Frodo is male Fox Terrier / Chihuahua mix about 2 years old or under. He has a cute little build with a nice shiny coat consisting of a beautiful bright white with taupe colored markings. Frodo is making great progress in learning how to trust again after his obvious difficult beginning and stay at the shelter. He doesn’t ask for much. No fancy food or the entertainment of toys or other dogs. He is a calm little guy who is fine with taking a nap or working away at a chew when you happen to need to attend to other things. Frodo simply loves to be loved. He is completely content just being with you. He is grateful for every bit of affection he receives. Be it a little pet on the head, a warm lap - or better yet, a nice belly rub. Frodo has the unique ability to make you feel happy and appreciated with his special little way that will make you smile when greets you in the morning, and when he welcomes you back home – it is the best you will find. He is in heaven while being brushed, and now, during his baths. Luckily, he is fantastic on the leash (not interested in stopping for leg-lifts), and takes pleasure in walking perfectly at your side, because he needs his exercise to lose a few more pounds. Frodo is house trained (polite - not a leg-lifter). He is an EXCELLENT LISTENER and responds very well with praise. He prefers people affection above everything, although he would probably like a Chihuahua or similar breed, if you happen to have one. He would also be an ideal only dog. Frodo is healthy, as reported in his very recent comprehensive vet exam. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and defleaed. He comes with his harness, collar, leash, along with some clothes, chew treats, food and goodie bag. You can meet Frodo on Sundays, 12:00-3:00 at PETCO 1280 Bison Ave, Newport Beach.
