Dickens is a neutered male Tibetan Terrier/Poodle mix. He is microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and is very healthy. He is a mid-sized dog, weighing about 25 pounds. Dickens is a real character. He is extremely loving and wants to be around people at all times. Wherever you are, Dickens will make sure to curl up right at your feet. He would sleep on a bed of stones if it meant that he could just be near you. He loves to play with toys and runs all around with them in his mouth looking very goofy and endearing. His favorite pose is to lay down on his stomach with his back feet stretched out behind him. Dickens needs an owner willing to give him lots of attention and direction. He would make a nice family dog as he is good with children and is very gentle when taking treats or being handled. Dickens is very smart and will benefit greatly from a basic obedience class or two. Because of his intelligence, he tends to take matters into his own hands unless given clear directions. He wants to please, responds very well to commands, and is making great progress at a very rapid rate. He has obviously had no direction at all in his young life and was extremely neglected when we rescued him. He has been professionally groomed and had to have most of his glorious coat clipped off due to severe matting. With proper care and grooming, Dickens should have a mid-length, low to non-shedding soft white coat. Dickens would prefer to be the only dog in the home.

George is five pounds of pure love. His mother was part chiwawa but dad is a mystery. He is strong and smart. When he eats, he wags his tail for joy and when he is excited he jumps and gets all four paws off the ground. George loves to chase balls and sleep in the sun. He loves to play with the older dog in his foster home. George sleeps though the night in his crate and is on the way to being paper trained.

This is Anna - she appears to be a shepherd/border collie mix. She is sweet as can be - great with other dogs and people of all ages.

Harrison is a 12 week old shepherd mix. He loves people of all ages and good with other dogs.

Brent is a 2 year old purebred Lakeland Terrier - he was used for a show dog and is extremely friendly and affectionate towards people. Brent should be the only dog in the home as he is not dog or cat friendly.

Danali, McKinley, and Juno, are Malti-poo and Beagle mix boys and were born Jan.11 '10. They weigh about 7 1/2 lbs and will be about 20 lbs. when full grown. These boys love people and other dogs. they are very playful and will need another dog in their families and a yard to run in. They are trained to puppy pads

Purdy is a very friendly and mellow dog. She looks like a yellow lab but has short legs like a corgi and weighs about 30 pounds. She loves kids, gets along with cats and other dogs. She is housetrained as long as she can get outside and loves to go for long walks. She is also up for some jogging if you are. She is looking for a family to give her the loving home she deserves.

Chi Chi is a 9 week old Chihuahua/Pug mix - of course we are guessing on the breed. You can see a photo of her mama on our website www.fochp.org her name is Maiden. Chichi is a fun little dog - she will keep you laughing with her expressions. She loves to be with people and loves dogs of all sizes and ages. Ella is a 1 yr.old Husky mix who is NOT good with other dogs. She likes the dog park and going for walks. She must be the only dog in the home - she is fine with dogs outside of her home but wants to be the only dog in her own home. She is not cat friendly. Her owners were forced to move to a place that doesn't allow pets so Ella is looking for a new home. She would be happy if she finally got a place with a yard! My previous family got me nice and healthy again but unfortunately can no longer keep me. I get along with my Weimeraner sister, but don't get along with other males, I'm a ladies man.
