Tara is an 8 lb female Yorkshire or Silky terrier mix about 11 months old. She has a darling, very gentle personality that will win you over the second you meet her! Tara is making great progress in just a short time after being terrified during her stay at the shelter. She was so scared that she wouldn’t eat while there, so is on her way to gaining about 2 lbs., which should also help revive a full, more vibrant coat before long. She’s still shy with strangers, but is gaining trust and becoming happier every day. She appreciates being brushed and bathed. She’s fun, enjoys playing and fetching toys and a very happy little walker as she prances along with you, loving every minute. She has an irresistible grin and melts into your lap comfortably, expressing her appreciation with the most precious, delicate little kisses, ever! Tara is very sensitive and responds to direction exceptionally well. She knows how to sit and shake, is making great progress on the leash, housetraining and is a quick learner, showing ability to learn many tricks. Tara would be great as an only dog or with another. SHE NEEDS A HOME WHERE SHE WILL BE MOSTLY INDOORS & PAMPERED. She’s extremely sweet, great with children and perfect size - will be about 10 lbs., and has a non-shedding coat. Tara is well-behaved, wanting very much to please and be loved. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and defleaed.
