Hi! My name is Mia! I was abused as a puppy and ended up at the shelter. I was adopted, but my owner had to return me for financial reasons. Everybody who worked there loved me and asked FOCHP to rescue me. FOCHP noticed I was limping. An x-ray was taken (along with a mange and fecal test), and it turns out that I had an ACL problem. I had to have major surgery March 4th, which cost over $3,000. FOCHP is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is run strictly by volunteers. They could really use some help with my vet bills.
