I have two loving dogs that are in need of a home in the next two weeks. They are approx 8 years old. Both have been spayed. Prada is 60 lbs, Gucci is 85 lbs. We believe they are sisters. They go to the dog park frequently and have lived with other dogs and behaved very nicely. I have never had them around cats. They are both house trained and have been through leash training, however they are not perfect with the leash :) They have not bitten anyone and are very timid and shy, however will growl if they feel smothered by people. We believe they were beaten by their previous owners due to their behavior when punished, or spoken to with a harsher voice. They are very loving dogs and enjoy kids as well as adults. They seem to know who they can play with ( young adults vs. my grandmother and small cousins whom they are more cautious around). They both love to cuddle on the couch or in bed, and are content with just being near people or guarding the back yard. I adopted them 4 years ago and have loved every minute with them. Unfortunately my parents are forced to sell their home and move out of the country and I will no longer have a yard for them and not be able to keep them. I would love to have a loving family adopt the dogs rather than send them to a shelter where the cages are small and the possibility of being put down is high. Hi I am Joey. I am 4 years old. I am the most handsome guy you will ever meet. I am very sweet and affectionate. I give great kisses!!!! I have a very loving temperment. I get along with other dogs, male or female. I even seem to like cats. I am living in my foster home right now with 3 dogs (2 males and one female) and a kitten (She rules the roost here). Parsley is very sweet, socialized with dogs, cats and people. Her mama is a brindle chihuahua weighing about 7 pounds so Parsley will most likely stay very small.

Foxie is a sweet, loving 5 week old, female pitbull puppy. She has a gorgeous colored coat with a black mask interupted by a white stripe. Foxie is very sweet and would love a family to give her a forever home. She likes to play with toys, run around and chase shoe laces, and lay in your lap to catch her breath. Buddy is a VERY sweet dog - extremely social dog, and does very well at the dog park or any other social activity. He enjoys going on long walks, rarely barks, and responds well to positive reinforcement/training. Some of the commands we have taught him are: sit, lay down, stay, and best of all..."go potty". This brings up his current house training situation. He is completely house broken, and uses the litter box when in doors. He also knows when and where to go to the bathroom outside, and as mentioned will use "go" on command. He does snap when you mess with his behind or teeth. Buddy came from an abusive home that kept him in a crate for over 20 hours at a time. He should not be in a home that plans to crate him - he needs lots of exercise.

Ricky is a 3 - 4 year old, shih tzu mix. (We think maybe with lhasa apso). He is very sweet and friendly, gets along great with other dogs and has a very handsome appearance. Ricky was being abandoned by someone trying to throw him out of a car. He was rescued by a good samaritan who saw this act and taken to our organization for proper care. Lilac is a 12 week old, female beagle mix puppy. She was rescued out of a shelter with her mom (a beagle mix) and her 7 siblings. Lilac is mostly brown with a white under side and legs. She is very pretty and will be a great puppy. She is currently being socialized with other dogs and people and she enjoys it very much!

Blue and Sugar are 2 year-old Siberian Husky sisters. Their previous owner didn't have time for them, and they were left outside all day.An athletic home would be great. They would make great running partners. They are not high strung but an energetic/working breed. They also have a very loving low-key side and would enjoy just laying around with you. We do not know if they are good with cats.
