Rocco is a Shep/Lab mix, approx 11 months old, weighs 50 lbs, very friendly, playful, good with other dogs, sweet as can be. Rocco was about to be dumped at a local high-kill shelter and we scooped him up. He will make a very good family pet. Rocco is neutered, vaccinated and ready for his forever home! The first time I saw this big dog I was getting my morning paper and he was trotting by on the busy road in front of my house. I said Hey! you want to come in. He came over to the gate and walked in. I gave him water and some food. The big dog slept all day under the tree in the front yard. About 2:00AM I heard a dog howl. I looked out my window and he was going over the fence. I thought Oh well he had a rest and some food. When I went out in the morning to get my paper he was laying on the other side of the gate. He came in and has been here almost a year. I bring in my quota of dogs off that street. I have no room to keep them so they go directly to Animal control if they have no ID. This dog was special and I couldn't send him there. I have a kennel of Australian Shepherds (smart Dogs) I believe he is as smart as any one of my dogs. He is kind(except with cats) (?) He is bidable and good natured. He will wait forever before he will soil his kennel. He is playful and loves a tummy scratch. He does jump fences, so you need a tall wall to keep him in. I think he just likes to visit. He travels well in a car. He Is Leash broke He likes toys. He really needs someone to play with. I just love him but he needs a forever home where someone has time to play with him.

This little guy was trotting along on a busy street with rain pouring down on him as if he had not a care in the world. I stopped and he came right over to me. That does not happen every day! He had a collar around his neck that was 5 times to big for him. Very sweet from the start. I decided to keep him and find his owner or a new home. He is very smart and minds well. He does not soil his crate. He loves to play and does so with dogs much bigger than he is. He plays with toys. He needs a fence with no small places where he could exit. He would love to be a house dog. He likes his bed and he really likes cookies. He will make a great companion for someone who will find him to be a special dog. He can be a real clown and has made me laugh many times.

little chihuahua/terrier male is a sweetheart. Black with white paws and white chest. Very lovable, gentle, cute, and sweet. Gets a long great with other dogs and kids.

Dexter is a 4-5 month old, male puppy. He appears to be a golden retriever / shepherd mix - but we do not know for sure. He was rescued from a high kill animal shelter and is now safe in a loving foster home. Dexter is a very good boy. He loves attention and plays well with other dogs and kids. Samantha is a 4-5 month old, female puppy. She appears to be a chow / lab / spaniel mix... but it is all a guess. We estimate her adult weight to be around 45 lbs. Samantha was abandoned out of a car at a public park. Some very nice people rescued her and brought her to our organization in the hopes of her finding a forever home. Tiko is a little black male chihuahua weighing 2.4 pounds. Full grown he will be about 7 pounds. He is very sweet, great with other dogs and with cats. He is ready to go home today.

Lucy is a 10 week old, female puppy. She appears to be a lab mix and has a gorgeous black coat with stand up ears. Lucy is very pretty and will make a great family companion. Muffin is an 8 week old, female puppy. Her mama is a terrier / poodle mix and we do not know who dad was. (Mom is white, but all puppies are black) HAHA Muffin is very sweet and loving. "Willy" is a sweet 7 yr. old male Lakeland Terrier. He has a beautiful rich red wiry coat. He's very friendly & affectionate. Loves people and playing fetch with his tennis ball. He needs a home with an area to run & play. He has all his shots & has been neutered. Probably best in a single dog household, without small children.
