He is a wonderful dog and is very well trained. He knows all his commands, sit, stay, come, down, off (if he is on something he shouldn't be), drop it, fetch, roll over (when he isn't being too lazy), and listens very well. He is good with kids and can come off a little shy. He is very lazy around the house! but he loves long walks and hikes, I didn't even have to use a leash if it was a safe environment. He is not a barker but he will bark if someone knocks on the door. In the house he just wants to follow you around or take a nap. He really is a wonderful dog. Mindy is about 1.5 years old and one of the happiest dogs I have ever met. She is very well adjusted, loves everyone she meets. She is great with dogs of all sizes and ages and good with cats. She is happy, pretty mellow but does love to play. She is a snuggler, rides great in car - she is pretty much a perfec tlittle girl. Jessica is about 3 years old and weighs about 25 pounds. She looks like an Australian shepherd / Cocker spaniel mix but in reality we think she might be a duck tolling retriever. She has gorgeous long, red fur with white markings throughout her body. Due to an unknown history, when you first meet Jessica she is timid for about 5 minutes but then she warms up and will be your best friend for life. She gives you a bond that makes you feel like no one else in the world matters. She is good with other dogs but can be particular about the dogs that she lives with. She likes children but would be best in a home with older children due to her shy personality. As you can see she is beautiful, a perfect size and if you give her about 30 minutes to warm up to you, she is a great dog. She loves to go for walks and rides great in the car. Julie is a 6 month old adorable girl. She is happy, friendly, playful. She is good with other dogs, walks great on leash, good with car rides. Chewy is a 5 month old, male puppy. His mom was a purebred Dachsund and his dad was a Dachsund mix... not sure of the mix. His owners got him as a baby but some medical problems came up with the owner and she was unable to take care of both herself and the puppy. So Chewy came to us to find a new home. He is very friendly. Loves other dogs and playing with kids. He will chase you with the hose and doesn't mind getting wet. He currently weighs under 10 lbs and will remain a small dog.
