My name is Candy and I am about 4 months old, my foster mom thinks I am Wire Haired Griffon Mix, she says I am the cutest dog she has ever seen. One day I woke up in the scary shelter, I am not sure how I got there but my foster mom thinks I was hit by a car. You see, my hip was dislocated and I had a big knot on my knee as well as scrapes and bruises. I was so scared I just coward in the corner – so afraid of the world. FOCHP came and rescued me, they treated me real good, they give me hugs and kisses and now I am starting to trust but I still have a long road to go. I don’t really like to walk on leash yet and I am still scared of people. I think I will learn to trust again with the right humans taking care of me. I went to the see the vet and he fixed me all up, he did surgery on my hip to put it back in place. I am almost all better, I walk a little funny and probably will for life but I love to romp and play with the other dogs. Would you like to meet me????
