Pocahontas is a female red Labrador retriever mix, born in 2014. She weighs 35 pounds. Pocahontas came to us as a stray after a kind stranger found her, another mama dog, and 5 puppies that had been living out in the woods as a family. They had been killing rabbits and other small animals to eat and had been living in the hollow of a tree. They have all been rescued and most have found new homes. This sweet, gentle soul is now ready to find her forever home where she can find the love and kindness that she showed to the mama dog and puppies.
