Hi. My name is Jack. I’m a 3 year old Beagle-Jack Russell Terrier mix. I weigh 42 pounds. I am potty trained and know all my basic commands (even if I don’t listen to them all the time.) I am an indoor dog but enjoy having access to a backyard and going on lots of walks (my leash/walking skills are still a work in progress). I am FULL of energy and am very playful! I love chasing my toys and balls in the house and yard. I’m also VERY loving and affectionate and always want to be with my parents. I’m basically a shadow whether I’m following you around the house, or sleeping at your feet. While I am extremely loving and playful, I come with A STRICT SET OF RULES: As my last owners unfortunately discovered, I DO NOT like children of any age. I cannot be in a home where children live or where children frequent. Its also best that I be the only dog in the household as I don’t really get along well with other dogs. I currently have an old cat brother but haven’t been around any other cats as of yet. I really need to be with a family/person who has the time to spend with me and give me the one on one attention that I need. I need my new family to be dedicated to working with me daily and understanding that this is the type of environment I will thrive in. The good news is, I’ve worked with an amazing dog trainer one on one for the last couple months. She is helping ensure that I have all the tools necessary to be amazing in my new home!
