If you are old enough to know what the definition of Moxie is (pep, energy, courage) - then you have just described this kitten. She was found under a hedge at four weeks by a 200 lb. mastiff gentle giant and was as brave then as she is now. Moxie is a very active, playful kitten who is curious about everything. Her favorite pose is on her hind feet with her front paws flapping at whatever toy you are dangling - or as we like to put it - the "Godzilla pose". Her foster gave her many baths as she was growing up and Moxie is comfortable with getting her nails trimmed regularly. Moxie is spayed, has her microchip, her first set of vaccinations and flea treatment. You can meet this little lady at the Tustin Petco on Saturday from 11 - 3.

Born in July of 2009, Samantha is a now a striking two year old Russian Blue. Adopted as a FOCHP kitten, her parents now have to relocate to London, England and are devastated they cannot take Samantha with them. Samantha is an indoor/outdoor cat who has been raised with four children but no other pets in the household. Her owner says she is very clever and loving. Samantha is current on her vaccinations, has her microchip and is eager to find her forever home.

Hope is everything her name implies. Abandoned at an apartment complex, friends of FOCHP kept an eye on her and when it was obvious she did not belong outside at all, they took her to our vet. Hope has been tested and is negative for every virus, she was bathed, dewormed, got her microchip, shots and when it came time to spay her guess what? She was already spayed. Hope is very affectionate, has the softest fur and could spend hours letting you pet her, and she carries on a good conversation when the mood strikes her. Hope is a stunning young lady. Someone cared for her at one time in her life, won't you care about her now?

Holly was at death's door. When she was rescued, we discovered Holly had been so neglected when abandoned, her claws had grown into her pads, she weighed less than 4 lbs, and was so thin no one could bring themselves to pick her up. But even in such critical condition, Holly's eyes were bright and alert and she clearly told the FOCHP volunteer that she was not ready to be "dismissed". She had spunk and a set of lungs on her the vet techs could hear every morning (could be extra loud because she is a little deaf). Holly has made an amazing recovery and now weighs over 6 lbs. Her coat is healthy, her appetite is unmatched and she watches her foster's every move. She wanted to live and we got the message. Holly was diagnosed with hyper-thyroid-ism which requires her to get ear gel medication twice a day - which is no big deal to her. This is a tremendous FOCHP success story - Holly now looks like she's ten and where she had no strength before - she now runs around with the other foster cats with no problem. Buster the sweetest of six siblings, always playful and very loving. He is eight weeks old, vaccinated, neutered, has his microchip and has been dewormed and deflea'd. Buster was so comfortable at the photographer's that he fell asleep! No drama for this boy, he can be seen on Saturday at the Petco in Tustin from 11:30 to 3:00 p.m. Buster gets along with cats, kittens and is familiar with the whole dog thing.....come and meet him!
