Hi there! My name is Churu. I am a 14-week old, spayed and vaccinated female, weighing around 5 lbs. I am here because Friends of Orange County’s Homeless Pets and PetSAV rescued me from the back of Taco Adobe in old town Orange. Originally, my name was Nacho, but I just love my ‘Churu’ treats so much that my fosters started calling me Churu. I was rescued when I was 8-weeks old along with my two brothers (who have been adopted) and my (almost twin) sister. Our Mom and Dad are feral and we were living a rough life on the streets. We were covered with fleas and very afraid of humans. Thanks to PetSAV who gave me food and a warm & safe place to stay (and to so many volunteers who came to play with me and feed me at the store), I slowly began to trust and show people what a playful and loving kitten I am! I am litter box trained and my foster says that my favorite things to do are, “play, cuddle, eat, repeat”. I have a lot of kitten energy and I love my toys! I also love to have my butt scratched and my belly rubbed. I am so cuddly, which was definitely not the case a few weeks ago! I love to greet you when you get home and meow with excitement. I’m a survivor and I’m so grateful to have been given a second chance…will you give me my forever home?
