Rose is a sweet 3-year-old girl weighing just 11 pounds. She’s a little bundle of love who does well with other dogs and is ready to find a loving home of her own.

Meet Woody! 🤠 Woody is a 4-month-old purebred Border Collie who came to us with his three brothers after being rescued from a hoarding situation. His beginning may have been rough, but Woody certainly hasn’t let that dampen his enthusiasm for life! Woody is the boldest personality of the bunch. He’s confident, outgoing, and has a bit of a “big brother” personality with his littermates—he likes to take charge and isn’t always shy about telling his brothers how he thinks things should be done! He’s continuing to learn appropriate social skills and boundaries as he experiences more of the world. One thing is certain: Woody LOVES other dogs. If there’s a dog nearby, Woody wants to meet them, play with them, and preferably become their new best friend. We’re currently taking Woody out for lots of positive exposure to new places, environments, and people, and he’s soaking up all those new experiences. He’s also doing great around cats so far. Crate training is coming along, while potty training will still require plenty of consistency and patience from his future family. Woody is looking for an active home ready to continue his training and give this smart, energetic Border Collie appropriate outlets for his confidence and enthusiasm. He’s a fun little character with a whole lot of personality packed into one fluffy puppy. Woody is up to date on his vaccinations and will be neutered before going to his forever home.

Meet Slinky! 🐾 Slinky is a 4-month-old purebred Border Collie with a tender heart who is looking for a patient and understanding forever family. Slinky and his three brothers were rescued from a hoarding situation and had a very limited start to life. Of the four boys, Slinky has needed the most time to adjust to his new world. New people, places, and experiences can make him unsure, and he prefers to observe and take things at his own pace before deciding everything is okay. Underneath that uncertainty is an incredibly sweet little puppy. We’re currently giving Slinky lots of positive exposure to new environments and people while allowing him the time he needs to build confidence. He’s making progress, but his future family will need to continue that work patiently and understand that he may take longer than the average puppy to adjust. Slinky takes a great deal of comfort and confidence from other dogs, so he will need to go to a home with another friendly, confident dog. A stable canine companion will be an important part of helping him continue to blossom. He’s doing great around cats so far, crate training is coming along, and potty training remains a work in progress that his adopter should be prepared to continue. Slinky isn’t looking for someone to rush him. He’s looking for someone who can give him patience, consistency, positive experiences, and a confident canine buddy to help show him the way. Watching this sweet boy discover that the world isn’t such a scary place is going to be something special. Slinky is up to date on his vaccinations and will be neutered before going to his forever home.

💕 Meet Reba! 💕 Reba is about 2 years old, 20 pounds, and 100% fabulous! This sweet little lady is an absolute gem with a personality that makes her easy to fall in love with. As for her breed? Your guess is as good as ours! We’re calling Reba some sort of Terripoo mix, but that’s simply our best guess. Whatever makes up Reba’s family tree, the end result is pretty darn adorable. Reba is sweet, fabulous, and ready to find a family to call her own. 🐾 Meet Poppy! 💕 Poppy is a beautiful Bulldog/Frenchie mix, about 2 years old, and she is one of the happiest little dogs you’ll ever meet! 🥰 This adorable girl is a total cuddle bug who loves being close to her people. And when it comes to other dogs, Poppy has never met one she didn’t like! She’s friendly, affectionate, and just an all-around joy to be around. Meet Buzz! 🚀 Buzz is a 4-month-old purebred Border Collie with a sweet, attentive nature and an incredibly resilient spirit. Buzz and his three brothers were rescued from a hoarding situation, so their introduction to the world came much later than it should have. Despite his rough beginning, Buzz is adapting beautifully and showing us just how resilient he can be. Buzz is playful, affectionate, observant, and loves engaging with his people. He has a wonderful attentiveness about him and is eager to explore all the new things life has to offer. Like his brothers, Buzz is currently working on crate training and making good progress. Potty training is still very much a work in progress, and his future family should be prepared to continue working consistently with him. We’re also taking him out into the world for plenty of positive exposure to new places, sounds, environments, and people. So far, he’s doing great around cats! Buzz will do best with a family committed to continuing his training and socialization while giving his smart Border Collie brain plenty of appropriate outlets. After everything this little guy has already overcome, we’re excited to see what he becomes with a family of his own. Buzz is up to date on his vaccinations and will be neutered before going to his forever home.

🐾 Meet this tiny guy with a BIG personality! 🖤 This adorable 4-pound black Chihuahua was rescued from the euthanasia list at Downey Animal Shelter and is now getting his second chance. ❤️ He’s about 4 years old and has lots of energy! He’s still learning the basics — including house training and walking on a leash — but his foster family is patiently helping him along. He can be a little shy with new people, but once he trusts you, he LOVES attention and will definitely let you know when he wants more! 🥰 ✨ Sleeps quietly in his crate all night ✨ Loves jumping on the sofa ✨ Just discovered that toys are pretty fun! 🧸 ✨ Tons of personality ✨ Learning what it’s like to be loved and part of a family We think he may have spent much of his life as a backyard dog, so he’s still learning about all the good things that come with being a family dog. He doesn’t need someone looking for a perfect dog. Meet Angel! 💕 Angel is a sweet little girl who we believe is a Yorkie/Westie mix — although that’s just our best guess! She’s about 10 pounds and around 2 years old. This little girl is simply precious. She’s very sweet, loving, and has the cutest little personality. Meet Molly 🐾 Molly is about 2 years old and likely a Brussels Griffon/Lhasa Apso mix — a tiny girl with a big, adorable personality. She’s sweet, friendly, and loves being around other dogs. Molly thrives with an active guardian who enjoys getting outside and keeping her world fun and engaging. Her best home would have a backyard and no younger children, just a calm, steady environment where she can feel safe and loved. Meet Calvin, a two-year-old, 10 lb chihuahua mix with a big survivor spirit. Found as a stray in the mountains, this clever pup has come a long way with patient training and confidence building. After a year in foster care, he loves walks, mealtime, and playing with other dogs. He's eager to learn, knows sit, down, and shake, walks nicely on leash, and is crate trained. Calvin is independent, easygoing, and low-maintenance. He takes his time to trust new people, but his sweet side shines once he does. He'll thrive in a calm home with a patient owner and a confident dog to show him the ropes.
