Buffy is a spayed female Maltese mix approximately 1 year old. She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and weighs about 6 pounds. Buffy arrived at the shelter skinny and dirty with a matted, filthy coat that someone had apparently tried to cut with scissors. She had cut marks from the scissors all over her body and she was understandably terrified of people. We took Buffy to a professional groomer who slowly and patiently repaired most of the damage,cleaned her up, and revealed a beautiful, dainty little girl dog. Buffy has adorable fluffly little ears that look like pigtails. Her eyelashes are very long and white, framing large deep brown eyes. When her body hair grows back out, it should match her ears in length and silkiness. Buffy is doing much better now and we have discovered that she loves to be held and comforted. She is still skittish and doesn't like sudden movements, but if you get down on her level and call her name she comes right over and nestles in your arms. Buffy wants to be pampered and loved in a normal environment where her true personality can shine. She has a sweet, sensitive little heart that will be easily repaired with some love and kindness. She is comfortable around other small dogs and cats. Cotton is a very sweet, very cute dog looking for a forever home. She is about 2 years old and has the cutest tricolored markings with wire fur. She appears to be a wire-haired Dachsund mix with her short little legs and long body. Cotton was rescued from a high kill animal shelter. She deserves a good home to provide her a GREAT life. Logan is a male 8 week old Maltipoo puppy. All puppies will be spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, de-fleaed and de-wormed prior to adoption. Logan's mom is a small white poodle weighing about 14 pounds. We do not know who the dad is, so Maltipoo is a guess. Logan is the sweetest, kindest, most sensitive little boy. He has a very gentle, loving heart. If you sit down on the ground, you will find him in your lap immediately. He doesn't have much desire to explore his environment, he just wants to be with people. Logan loves the security of a warm lap, or just being held. He gets along with other dogs his size and cats, but mostly he really loves his humans. Logan will enjoy a home where he is with people pretty much all the time and where he can snuggle up and feel safe. He has non-shedding soft white fur with gorgeous apricot highlights. He will probably get to be about 15 pounds full grown. He is paper-trained and well on his way to learning good potty habits. Logan's adoption donation is $350 which includes his neuter surgery, first round of vaccines, microchip, de-worming, flea/tick medication, collar, harness and leash. Joey is a 6 month old little boy who loves dogs of all sizes and is good with cats. He is full of energy and would love to find a family that will give him all the exercise he needs. He weighs about 10 pounds and full grown maybe about 15 - 20 pounds. He has beautiful short red hair with a little bit of white. Lucy is a 3 year old spayed female Border Collie Mix. She is very sweet - great with dogs of all sizes. She was dumped at the local shelter by her humans. She was in very bad shape, her hair was completed matted so she had to be shaved. In this photo her hair is very short but when it grows back it is long and beautiful. Biscuit is an 8 week old, male puppy. The shelter said his mama was a chihuahua / dachsund mix, but he looks more like a shepherd. He is very handsome with beautiful fur and an outgoing personality. Betsy is the perfect dog, she is potty trained, good with all dogs, kids, cats and very independent. She is loving and loyal - if you want her to sit on the couch with you she is happy to do that but if you prefer she stays in her bed on the floor she will also accomodate your request. She is very quiet, happy and easy to please.
