This beautiful boy is about 5 years old, he was running out of time at the shelter. Once in our care we have been able to get to know Sam and find out what a great dog he is. He is house broken, likes to fetch a ball and is happy indoors or out. Adoption fee is $100

Jinx is a pure bred rat terrier who was born in December of 2005. As a puppy her mother became ill and she was hand raised by a family with young children and has lived with my two small children for the past 15 months. She loves to play with kids and run alongside my son while he is skating but she is probably too rambunctious for children under 6 years old. At our house she gets along with another dog and a cat wonderfully in her house. However, she does not like going to places like the dog park. Too many strange dogs in one place intimidate her. She is a very friendly and active puppy who is always looking to play. She is up to date on all of her shots and is already microchipped. She is a bright and lovable pup who needs a lot of exercise – more than our family can give her. She was crate trained as a puppy and is currently used to spending time in her exercise pen when we are not home. Jinx is a great dog who is simply not getting what she needs in our home. Chester and Big Red's story: These boys did not know each other before being dumped at a Los Angeles shelter, but they bonded while in the same kennel. They don't have to be placed in the same home, but they would certainly enjoy getting to spend their lives together. Friends of Orange County Homeless Pets saved Big Red and Chester on their last day in the shelter. They are now in a boarding facility awaiting their new home or a foster home. They love people and think they are lap dogs. If you are not able to adopt right now but could provide a short-term foster home, please let the group know. Donations to cover Big Red and Chester's boarding costs are also welcome. Chester and Big red are currently in boarding and would love a foster home or forever home.

The woman who dropped him off at the shelter said that he showed up on their door step and started playing with her children. she said he was SO good with her children, gentle with no nipping or jumping up. We have now had him in foster care for about 2 weeks. He is very well bahaved, gets along wtih dogs, cats, people and walks well on a leash. Eddie is currently in boarding and would love a foster or forever home.

Dusty is a female Cairn Terrier/Maltese mix. She is about 8 months old. She is very mellow for a young dog and likes other dogs. She likes belly rubs too

Fergie is a 1 yr old female pit-beagle mix and weighs approx 45 lbs. She is a beautiful little girl that was rescued from a local shelter. Fergie loves to go to the dog park and for walks around the neighborhood.Fergie graduated from "Doggie Manners" class and knows all her basic command and is housebroken.
