Willow is a sweet 11 month old Lab Mix puppy with a lot of energy and love. She is a friendly, playful dog and gets along well with other dogs, children, cats, and people. She is current on all shots and is spayed. She is very smart and learns quickly. She has gone through obedience training and does well with down/sit stays, coming when called, walking on the leash, and boundaries. However, she is still a puppy and would need further training to quell instinct behavior that can interfere with her obedience skills and help her through her puppyhood! For example, she does well walking on a leash but is a bit strong and needs a little work (primarily if someone is in front of her). She would make an ideal friend for someone looking for a special companion to hang out with or run and take walks with. She runs well alongside a bike. Willow will also need a home with a very active family. She loves attention. In short, she is an oversized lap dog! She will search it out! She is affectionate and even gives hugs (kisses, too of course!) She loves to play fetch. She will go and get her toy to initiate play. Willow is also good at playing on her own with toys, but will chew them until destroyed. She has not been destructive in the yard. She is a strong, athletic dog and a high jumper. She will need a house with a taller (6’) fence, though she has not tried to escape. She would do fine with other dogs in the home, but would still seek a lot of attention. Cats would be fine, but no small children. She is medium to large size with a thin build. She is very loyal and would do best with a family that is not away from home a lot. Willow is crate trained, and the family would need to ensure she has access to a crate as she feels safe in it. She travels well! She loves to go to the dog park too!

Copper is excellent with everyone. I have never seen him growl, show his teeth or bark at anyone. Cooper is house trained, we have a doggy door so he can come in and out as he pleases. He is a very laid back dog. I have seen him run maybe a dozen times. I can take him for a walk and take him off the leash at the beginning of the street and he follows me home. Samantha, AKA Sammi, is a very sweet 1 year old, female Terrier mix. She loves everyone she meets - cuddles in your lap and is great with other dogs. Samantha is in need of a new home. Mia is a beautiful 5 year old mix female - she came to us pregnant and had 12 babies. She has now weaned her babies and searching for a forever home. She is a great dog, loves everybody, all dogs, good with cats, potty trained and knows basic commands. She is a very quiet dog - loves to be with people.

She is house broken and knows a few comands like sit stay and come. When I take her to the park near my house I am able to let her run around off leash because she listens very well. She has a lot of energy and a lot of love to give. She absolutely loves people, she is not shy at all and she gets along with most dogs too. She loves little dogs. I don't believe she would do good with cats because when I take her on a walk (or when I took her to petco and they had the Cats In Need adoption set up) she stares at the cats but has never lunged for them.

Skittles is an 8 week old, female shih tzu . rottie mix. Her fur is like the shih tzu, but she has daddy's markings like the rottie. She is VERY pretty and will grow to be an incredibly unique dog. Chloe is a 2 year old, female Basset Hound. She is very sweet, loves belly rubs and "cuddle time", and will make a great companion. She gets along great with other dogs and children. Diva is a 2 year old, female pitbull Terrier. She is the sweetest, most loving dog you could meet. She absolutely loves her belly to be rubbed and to sit beside you while you watch TV. Our 1 year old daughter has completely bonded to her and climbs all over her. Diva enjoys her company and is great with all other kids and dogs.She is not a barker and is crate trained. Tommy is a 5 year old, male chihuahua mix. He is very loving and would love to have a home where he can sit in your lap and get lots of love. He is shy at first and needs help learning how to walk on a leash... but will make someone a great companion.

Princess is a "model child"--calm, quiet, well behaved, and wanting to please. She has exotic coloring of slate gray and fawn, beautiful cognac-colored "Sophia Loren" eyes, and weighs about 18 lbs. Princess has been professionally groomed, is completely housebroken, walks on a leash like a pro without pulling, sits, shakes, sits up and begs, and will sleep in bed with you all night without stirring. She enjoys her walks, lounging in the sun, and cuddling. She loves other dogs and would need the company of at least one other dog in the family, and would fit seamlessly into a multi-dog family since she is submissive. Poor little Princess was abandoned at the shelter months ago, pregnant like a balloon, carrying 9 babies!! She was rescued just in the nick of time. Her babies are all grown up, she's got her figure back, and she's ready to be spoiled and treated like the "Princess" that she is!!
