Evie is a 6 month old Cane Corso/mix. She is 50.1 lbs She was dropped off at Payton state hospital to fend for herself. She was roaming Patton State Hospital for a month depending on the Correctional officers at night to keep her safe from being eaten by coyotes. Evie followed closely by the Correction officers patrol cars she ran all night so the coyotes stayed away from her. The correction officers fed her on all shifts after she was hanging around for the faculty for a good week and half. The Payton state employees also fed her. Evie was very skittish and afraid of people but has started to warm up to her foster family and acting like a puppy. She is in good health. She Has had her Vaccines and has been microchipped. Evie is warming up to other dogs but needs a little work. Someone who will be patient with her and work with her on socializing as well as being around people. She can be fearful but will warm up to you. She is so loveable and sweet. She really just wants to be part of the family.
