Sarge LOVES head scratches and will approach you for them. If you stop petting him, he’ll nudge your hand for more. SO CUTE. He also follows you around and does want your attention. I think he wants love, but doesn’t know how to accept it. We just want him to go to a nice home that will take the time to get to know him. He is defensive and wants to be petted on his own terms. Probably some trust issues. He would be best in a home with with adults - children will probably scare him. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY !!!!! Curly is the most adorable dog however, he is extremely skittish. He is 2 years old and weighs a tiny 11 pounds. He is an escape artist and will look for ways to run. He is a super quiet little boy and very mellow. Curly was running on the streets for a very long time and he finds it hard to connect with humans right now. Eventually he may come around but it will take a long time and a very patient and understanding person. Right now he walks on leash but tries to run when foster mom goes to touch him. He would not be a good apartment dog as he may bet out of his leash or halter. He is happy sitting in his doggie bed in the house. He would be best in a home with no kids and a very secure back yard.
