Mogley and Bagherra
Age:4 Years Breed:
  • Polydactyl
Posted:2011-10-02 Adopted:2012-03-19
Hi. We are Mogley and Bagherra - two brothers who need a home together. We are both polydactyl cats which makes us very special - we have thumbs! We are very loving and are very playful and keep each other company while our owner is at work. Our owner is losing her home and already has 5 cats. She has 3 cats that have to stay with her because they are senior citizens and would not do good without her. We understand though and we know a loving home is out there somewhere for us. We still have many years ahead of us and will keep you happy for a long time to come. Mooney
Mooney
Age:3 Months Breed:
  • Tuxedo
Posted:2011-08-20 Adopted:2012-03-19
Mooney and Grover are sisters that were found curled up together in the grass at a public park in Visalia. We scooped them up and got a cat bed, food and a heating pad and took them to our hotel room and warmed them up and got them fed and then brought them home with us. Their eyes were barely open and they each fit in the palm of your hand. Now they are 3 months old and ready to find their forever homes. I would love to keep them but we already have 5 cats and 3 dogs. The sisters get along great with the dogs. They sleep next to our two little chi mixes and our 30lb. mutt mix just lays there while the kittens run over him. Mooney and Grover have both been spayed and have had their first set of shots. If you are interested in meeting or adopting the girls please email the foster mom directly at melissa@classicpartsdepot.com
Tiny
Tiny
Age:Adult Breed:
  • Calico
Posted:2012-01-11 Adopted:2012-03-18
Tiny Dancer got her name because she "dances" with her little white paws, all the time. She dances when you pet her, she dances when she eats, she dances when she drinks water. Tiny is so clean she rarely gets litter out of the box, never spills her food and is just about the most dainty cat we have ever met. When this beautiful cat first came to us, she hid under the couch for a week. Then one day, there she was, on top of the cat post, purring and dancing. Tiny prefers a calm house, is tolerant of dogs and shows interest but has not interacted with other foster kittens and cats at this point. Routine is her favorite word. Tiny gives kisses on your nose and cheek - especially when she is on her favorite cat condo which MUST go with her when she goes to her new home. Tiny loves companionship, you just have to give her the time to get to know you. Then you will be rewarded a thousand times over.
Rose
Rose
Age:1.5 Years Breed:
  • Domestic
Posted:2011-11-25 Adopted:2012-03-18
Rose is a miracle mom. Not only did she succeed in protecting and raising four beautiful kittens in a backyard shed - she actually "hid" them from any predators inside one of the shed walls! Despite all odds, Rose is friendly, sweet and loves to be petted. Two of the orange tabbies posted, Patricia and Parker, are her kittens. Rose is fostered with her kittens and is dog friendly when her kittens are not around, otherwise she feels obliged to protect them. Rose gets along with other cats and is very calm and sweet. She has all her shots, she is spayed, has a microchip and has been treated for fleas. Rose once belonged to someone - that is obvious. She needs to belong to someone again.
Gemma and Ruby
Gemma and Ruby
Age:10 years old Breed:
  • Burmese
Posted:2012-02-11 Adopted:2012-03-07
Gemma and Ruby are beautiful Burmese cats who were "prepaid" to be put to sleep when their owner was placed in a retirement home. We know the owner and cats did not want this to happen so a kind FOCHP volunteer rescued them both. They are 10 years old, declawed and no trouble at all. Gemma and Ruby have been together since they were kittens and are friendly, social and have no idea that someone was about to "throw them away". These ladies have many, many good years ahead of them and they would like to spend their lives as their owner intended; wanted, loved and safe. Please email karen.yeomans@yahoo.com if you are interested in Gemma and Ruby.
Elizabeth
Elizabeth
Age:8 Weeks Breed:
  • Long Hair Tabby
Posted:2012-03-01 Adopted:2012-03-04
Sweet, sweet Elizabeth. She is just as darling in person as she is in the photo. Purring is her first form of communication, and cuddling is her second. Found innocently walking in a parking lot, Elizabeth was rescued by yet another kind FOCHP volunteer and now her whole life is ahead of her, filled with lots of tummy rubs, hugs and companionship. Elizabeth has been spayed, microchipped, dewormed and treated for fleas. She has received her first set of vaccinations as well. She's definitely a young lady and those eyes...... Elizabeth will be at the adoption event this Saturday in Tustin at the Petco located on the corner of El Camino Real and Newport Avenue from 12 - 3.
Ruth
Ruth
Age:Adult Breed:
  • Tuxedo
Posted:2011-07-17 Adopted:2012-02-28
We rescued Ruth from the Ruths Chris Steakhouse parking lot in Anaheim. She had been sleeping under the bushes and living off of scraps from the restaurant staff . Ruth was brave enough to come right over to the food we offered her that day, so we could get her in a carrier. Surprise! She was pregnant, semi-feral and in desperate need of loving care. Well, it's four months later, her kittens have been adopted and Ruth has turned into one loving "mama". She has even paid it forward and took care of two kittens who lost their mom. Ruth would need to go to a home with a kitten or someone for her to grow old with as she is not a big fan of other cats. She will tolerate them with about a one foot personal space radius - but it's mostly all bluff. Ruth will now come running for lovies, lets you rub her face and ears and purrs like there is no tomorrow and for her - there almost wasn't a tomorrow. She's a great little cat who is now curious and loving. Amazing what a little TLC will do!
Einstein
Einstein
Age:3 years Breed:
  • Domestic Short Hair
Posted:2012-02-15 Adopted:2012-02-26
Einstein is a three year old soft bundle of wonderful. He is very loving and curious just like a kitten. Einstein came to us because someone adopted him three years ago and just moved away and left him behind. A kind couple took him in and had him scanned for a microchip and discovered he was a FOCHP cat. Einstein holds no grudges and doesn't know that he was unwanted, he has a very amiable personality - gets along with other cats and wants to play all the time, or snuggle. He is an excellent hunter in the house. His foster tells me all silverfish and crickets have left for safer ground. If you would like to meet this well rounded individual - he will be shown at the Petco in Tustin between 11 and 3. Einstein is stunning in person and is eager to find his forever home.....this time.
Mike
Mike
Age:Young Breed:
  • Tabby
Posted:2012-01-24 Adopted:2012-02-10
Mike is a gorgeous young man, with soft fur and beautiful markings. He is initially very shy but given time, or the company of his best friend Tony, Mike is curious and sweet. So sweet in fact, that a FOCHP sponsor has offered to pay his adoption fee if he can be adopted with Tony. Mike will only get better looking and more loving, once he finds his forever home. He thrives on consistency and patience. Mike is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated and waiting to meet you with Tony at the Tustin Petco on Saturdays from 11 - 3. Give him a chance - he so deserves it!
Annie
Annie
Age:Adult Breed:
  • Tabby
Posted:2011-11-25 Adopted:2012-02-06
Annie is approx. 11 months old and is up to date on all of her vacs, had her deworming treatment, is microchiped and altered. Her previous family put her in a carried, went to the vet and just left her in the lobby. She is an exceptional kitten with so much love to give. She all she wants in life is a warm lap and 3 square meals a day. She will play string for a short time but prefers just to be a lap warmer. She will never be another cats BFF but she will be yours. She tolerates others well. She lives with adult cats, kittens, a large and a small dog. She keeps to herself most of the time lying on the chair at the computer in her foster home. Or you can find her lying on the back of our couch above the madness that a house full of kittens is. She enjoys watching TV on her foster dads' belly. And will lay on your shoulders if you let her. One of her favorite things is making "kitty biscuits" when she is getting petted and loved. You can meet Orphan Annie at the Santa Ana PetsMart most Saturdays and some Sundays. Please contact the foster family to make sure she will be there frisma@aol.com (subject: ANNIE) Or her foster family will be happy to bring her to you for a meeting. Again email at frisma@aol.com (subject:Annie)
