I had a wonderful and loving family (a mommy, a daddy and their son) for 7 years and then my Mommy's mom got very ill and my mom could no longer take care of me. She took me to the Mission Viejo shelter and they wouldn't take me and I wasn't allowed to go home. I was very blessed to have a FOCHP volunteer right next me at the shelter who rescued me. I was in my backyard early one morning and heard this little "meow." Two backyards over from me I see this little face and it just broke my heart cause I knew the tenants had moved out and just LEFT THEM! The estimated birth of the Calico mommy, we named her "Kahlua," is Aug.8, '06, and her female baby (we have several names for her, "Baby", "Punkin", "Lil One") is May 6, '07. On Aug. 14, 2007 we had them both spayed and given all 1st yr. shots. Began also "Advantage" flea control which I still have 10 tubes that will belong to these cats. The two cat toys specified in these pics go along with the cats also if wanted. Age of Mommy estimated right now at 14 months ~~~~ age of Baby ~ apx. 5 months (all of this according to Humane Society). They are extremely active little kitties ~ especially the kitten!
